It's not every day that we receive a cheque for a whopping £41,868! Yesterday our founder (and Rosie's mum) Carolyn Mayling and music therapist Andy Stevens were delighted to pay a visit to our wonderful friends at the Lambrook School for a very special assembly of thanks in recognition of the amazing work the students, staff, and parents have done to raise funds for Rosie's Rainbow Fund, the school's chosen charity, over the past 18 months. At the assembly we were absolutely bowled over by the presentation of a cheque by the oldest boy in year 8 and the youngest girl in year 3--for a spectacular £41,868, the highest amount raised for our charity by a school to date!
Our sincere thanks to the entire Lambrook community, especially Nicola Hogan, Amelia Sinclair, and the Lambrook Parent and Teacher Committee for their generosity, enthusiasm for our charity, and tireless efforts on our behalf. We have truly felt embraced by the entirety of Lambrook, and are so proud of the genuine passion they clearly feel for the work we do. Lambrook will always have a special place in the hearts of all of us at Rosie's Rainbow Fund, and we are honoured to be able to provide our vital services to seriously ill and special needs children and their families with the funds they have raised. Thank you, Lambrook!
