We have exciting news! Rosie's Rainbow Fund has once again been chosen to take part in the Aviva Community Find Awards--which means that we need YOUR help! In order to receive £10,000 in funding for our Support Services for Parent Carers, provided by our amazing aromatherapy massage therapist Amanda Tibbels, we need your votes by 21st November to make it to the Judging Round! Please follow the link below and register to cast your 10 votes for our project, and then SHARE this link with friends, family, and colleagues on Facebook, on Twitter, or via email. These services for parent carers truly make such a massive difference, but we need YOUR help to make sure that our services are always available for families with seriously ill, special needs, and life-limited children in our community. Thank you :-)
Rosie's Rainbow Fund's bereavement counsellor Jenni Thomas, OBE (a leading expert on grief support and education in the UK and founder of Child Bereavement UK) has written an insightful article for the Daily Express discussing child bereavement and her thoughts on the support given to Princes William and Harry by the royal family following the tragic death of their mother, Princess Diana, in 1997. Rosie's Rainbow Fund is thrilled to announce that we have been selected to receive a very generous £2500.00 grant from The Louis Baylis (Maidenhead Advertiser) Charitable Trust in support of our bereavement work. We are delighted to be able to use these funds to provide bereavement counselling, support groups, and workshops for parents who have lost a child and children who have lost a sibling. Our sincere thanks to The Baylis Trust for their generosity and support, and special thanks to Richard Curry for his kind assistance.
