A huge congratulations and thank you to two very inspiring participants at yesterday's 2018 London Marathon. Eileen Naughton and Owain White joined over 40,000 people to run the 26.2-mile (42.2km) marathon through the streets of London. Not only was this an extraordinary personal achievement for both runners (raising the challenge with the warmer-than-expected weather conditions), but they also nominated Rosie's Rainbow Fund as their chosen charity for their fundraising efforts. So thank you so very much for supporting us!!
Some photos of our RRF Winners:
Eileen with a huge smile and showing her sparkles after running 26.2 miles!!
Owain enjoying a celebratory (and well deserved!!) meal with his supportive family.
Well done again from all of us at Rosie's Rainbow Fund :)
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we were recently chosen by the fantastic MCKS Charitable Foundation UK to receive a very generous £12,500 grant in support of our work! Our founder Carolyn Mayling had the pleasure of attending a cheque presentation with the lovely trustees and volunteers and getting to know these very caring people. We are incredibly grateful to the MCKS Charitable Foundation and to all their amazing donors for their generosity and for choosing to support Rosie's Rainbow Fund. Special thanks to Sue Mills and Jay Kotecha for their guidance and kindness these past months! We look forward to our continuing relationship with the MCKS Charitable Foundation and to working together in the future 😊
