I was delighted to accept the invitation to become a patron of Rosies Rainbow Fund.
Rosie was a remarkable girl who spent several weeks in hospital and died from a rare disease. During her stay in hospital she had expressed the wish to raise money to help other children. Rosies Rainbow Fund was established as a tribute to her and to fulfill her wishes.
Rosie was a very musical girl and already funds raised pay for a music therapist to visit children in hospital and help them through the boring and difficult times. Rosie's family also want some of the funds raised to go to research so we can gain a better understanding of chest and circulatory problems in children. These endeavours are very worthwhile and I am delighted to support them.
